China Telecom end-June fixed-line users hit 214.89m

China Telecom Corp Ltd said fixed-line users at the end of June totaled 214.89 million, down 580,000 from May.

In May, the decline in subscriber numbers was 820,000.
Broadband subscribers at the end of June totaled 39.95 million, up from 38.06 million at end of May.

China Telecom noted that the data includes subscribers from Beijing Telecom Co Ltd, which it purchased from its parent company in June.
